Councillor Robert Rigby has been elected the new Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Westminster following a vote at Full Council on May 15^th 2024.

Councillor Robert Rigby has represented Regent’s Park ward (St John’s Wood & North Marylebone) since first being elected in 2010. He came into local politics to make a difference and be a strong voice for his local community and residents ensuring all are treated with respect and dignity.
Robert has been Chair of Planning and Westminster Builds, served on a wide range of committees, as well as being Deputy Cabinet Member to various portfolios from Finance and Regeneration to Parking and Housing, and chaired the Lord’s Community Group.
