When he founded Oasis in 1985, he had no idea it would grow into the wonderful family of charities it is today.

Through Oasis Community Learning, one of the country’s largest academy school providers, over 32,000 children and young people receive an education each year. Oasis Community Housing offers housing for vulnerable young people, while Oasis Community Partnerships runs social projects—from community farms and coffee houses to churches and children’s centres—across diverse communities from Gateshead to Bristol. Oasis Restore, another branch of Oasis, is transforming young offenders’ lives by operating the country’s first secure school with a focus on holistic care and education.

Why does Oasis do this?
