Pradeep Kapadia – Founder, Kapadia Education Foundation

“How to change the lives of a million people, one student at a time.”

Pradeep Kapadia is the Founder of the Kapadia Education Foundation, which aims to provide financial support and guidance to deserving university students in developing countries. Since its establishment, the Foundation has supported nearly 1,100 students in pursuing higher education and making a positive impact in their communities.

Originally from India, Pradeep came to the U.S. in 1972 as a foreign student and graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to build a 47-year career as an environmentalist, specialising in energy and water conservation, and currently works as a sustainability engineer at Amazon.

A dedicated Rotarian for over a decade with the Ojai, California club, Pradeep has served extensively on the International Service Committee, collaborated with Rotary clubs in Africa and Asia, and participated in district and global grants to promote education and environmental projects. He is a Paul Harris Fellow (×2) and has spoken at Rotary clubs worldwide.

Having lived on three continents and visited over 70 countries, Pradeep is passionate about cross-cultural connections. For the past 25 years, he has been inspired by the students he mentors and continues to travel extensively, encouraging young people in developing countries to reach their full potential.
