Edwin A. Velarde is Chair and President of the Rotary Action Group for Diabetes and founder of EPiC Journey Against Diabetes. Having lived with type 1 diabetes for over three decades, he combines nutrition and ultra-distance cycling to raise global awareness of diabetes. A Rotarian since 1994, Edwin is also a dedicated humanitarian and international speaker.
